Our conference and native plant nursery are run and managed by SAMOFund employees, interns and volunteers.

SAMOFund works to protect and encourage appreciation and understanding of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. With the help of many sponsors, partners and our great volunteers and interns, we are able to accomplish so much in our local Santa Monica Mountains!

Monarchs, Milkweed and Local Youth

Support our program employing youth from underrepresented communities as they learn about local native plants and lead milkweed seed collections and restoration work in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Native Plants Nursery

Our native plant nursery is run by SAMOFund a non-profit organization that provides free local native plants to local school gardens and other members of the community.
